The Hidden Gardens of Beacon Hill
The horizontal trim gives an intimate feel to the book, as does the photography of
the backyard gardens. Ryerson Kipp at dcdesign created the ornamental scrollwork
ornament just below the title headings in Charlamagne. The curved path created by
wrapping the jacket image inside type and a side border is meant to invite the reader
into the book and the gardens within.
